Four unhurried steps, one private appointment at a time, at our studio in Gresford, ten minutes from Wrexham and twenty five from Chester.
Most parties come to us nine to twelve months ahead of the date, though we have dressed a wedding in a fortnight more than once. Whether you are arranging wedding suit hire for twelve, a single dinner suit for a black tie evening, or prom suits for a group of school leavers, everyone gets the same four unhurried steps and the same attention from our team.
Fit consultations take place at our studio at Pandy Business Park in Gresford, with free parking at the door. Appointments are private, so the room and the collection belong to your party for the afternoon. Clients travel to us from across North Wales, Flintshire, Denbighshire and Cheshire, and we schedule evening and weekend times to make that straightforward.

Every hire begins with a private appointment in Gresford, where cloth, colour and measurements are settled with our team in person rather than guessed from a size chart.

Book Your Appointment
Tell us the occasion and we set the showroom aside for you and your party alone.
Write to us with the date of the occasion, the venue and the size of the party, and we set the Gresford showroom aside for you alone. Appointments run through the week and across weekends and evenings, so grooms, groomsmen and fathers travelling in from Wrexham, Chester or further into Cheshire can come together rather than in ones and twos. From the first message onwards you are speaking to the team who will look after you on the day itself.

Styled by Our Team
Styled with you, in daylight, with honest advice rather than a rail to browse.
We walk the collection with you, handling cloth in daylight and talking through weight, weave and colour against the season, the venue and the palette the bride has already chosen. Nobody is left to browse a rail alone. You will try jackets on, compare a tweed against a worsted, and hear an honest opinion, including the occasions when we would gently steer you away from a choice rather than simply take the booking.

Fitted, Then Checked Again
Measured properly by hand, then invited back and checked again before the day.
Every member of the party is measured properly at the chest, waist, seat, sleeve and inside leg, and the numbers are recorded against the booking. Sleeve length, trouser break and waistcoat balance are adjusted by our fitters, then checked a second time closer to the date so growing page boys and changing waistlines are accounted for well before the morning arrives. Nobody leaves this showroom unsure of how they look.

Wear It, Leave the Rest to Us
Wear it, enjoy the day, then hand everything back. The rest is our job.
Suits are pressed, bagged and ready to collect from the Gresford showroom in the days before the occasion, or delivered to the venue when that is simpler. Afterwards you hand everything back exactly as it is. Cleaning, pressing and any repairs are handled here by our team, so nobody spends the week after the wedding queuing at a dry cleaner's counter. If anything at all goes wrong on the day, you have our number.

The Cloth
Standards you feel before you see
Every jacket in the collection is cut from British and Italian cloth chosen for weight, drape and how it behaves after twelve hours of wear. Horn buttons, taped seams and a canvassed chest that holds its shape. Hired, but never disposable.
Fabric is where a hired suit is usually let down, so it is where we spend the most care. Worsted wools for weddings that run from a morning ceremony into a late evening, herringbone and Donegal tweeds for autumn and winter in the Welsh countryside, open weave summer cloths for race meetings and coastal ceremonies. Linings are cut generously, trousers are finished with a proper waistband and turn ups where the cloth suits them, and every garment is pressed and inspected in Gresford before it leaves for the occasion.
Alterations are carried out in house. If a sleeve sits a quarter inch long or a waistcoat needs taking in the week before the wedding, it is corrected here in Wrexham rather than sent away, which is the practical reason our clients from Chester and Cheshire make the short drive across the border.
Good cloth is only half of it. A suit that fits badly looks hired no matter what it cost to weave, so our fitters check the same things every time: the collar sitting flat against the neck, the shoulder ending where your shoulder ends, a clean line down the sleeve, the trouser breaking once and no more. Those checks are repeated at the second fitting, and again when the garment is pressed before collection. It is unglamorous work, and it is the reason people tell us afterwards that the suit felt like theirs.
